Questions

Why Punycode?

DNS only carries letters, digits and hyphens, so non-ASCII labels are written in an ASCII form that starts with xn--.

What happens to capital letters?

They are case-folded as the IDNA rules require.

Which rules are used?

Encoding follows your browser's URL parser (IDNA); decoding is RFC 3492 Punycode.

Is my input saved or sent?

No. It is processed in your browser only.
